Dalam sebuah episode Silet yang ditayangkan hari Minggu (7/10), Fenny menyebutkan bahwa Jogja adalah kota malapetaka. Selain membuat pernyataan tersebut, Fenny juga sempat mengeluarkan sebuah pernyataan yang kembali meresahkan masyarakat Jogja yaitu memprediksi akan terjadi ledakan besar susulan Merapi pada 8 November esok.

“Fenny Rose membuat statement bahwa Jogja adalah kota malapetaka. Sensasi murahan! Mbok ya mikirin pengungsi gitu lho, banyak ortu mahasiswa nelpon anaknya untuk segera meninggakan Yogya, kalau perlu pindah kuliah! Gila gak? RCTIsadarlah bahwa bencana bisa terjadi di mana saja! Tidak cuma di Yogya!” tulis Wing Wahyu Winarno Full dalam akun Facebooknya.

“Saya memprotes keras Fenny Rose dalam acara SILET yang membuat statemen bahwa Jogja adalah kota Malapetaka! Selain itu juga memprovokasi pada 8 November akan ada gempa besar di Jogja. Segera Laporkan SILET RCTI 7 nov 2010 ke KPI,” tambah Andre Fajar Andrianto dalam akun facebooknya.

Begitu juga dengan Andreas Dion Et Omnia, salah seorang pengguna Facebook lainnya yang menulis, “saya kecewa dengan hasil tayangan tim SILET tadi siang…selamat, Anda telah membuat panik warga Sleman…sudah puaskah Anda membuat kami semakin panik dan menderita? tidak bisakah Anda sedikit saja menghibur kami? Anda memang orang jempolan, kami harap Anda masih memiliki hati!”

“Perlu diklarifikasi dan ditindak KPI,” kata Anggota Komisi I DPR (bidang luar negeri, pertahanan dan penyiaran) Roy Suryo melalui pesan singkat yang diterima INILAH.COM, Jakarta, Minggu (7/11).
